Treks in Nepal

The Nepal is one of the top destinations in the world for trekking because it has unique views. It is a country that offers great ethnic and cultural diversity, but also an infinite variety of landscapes.

Hiking is a great way to discover its riches. There are a very large number of treks, more or less long, which meet all the desires of travelers, according to their desires, but also to their physical capacities. No need to be an experienced mountaineer or mountain dweller to have fun. No need to travel long distances to discover an extremely varied fauna and flora.

At low and medium altitude, you will discover terraced crops, rodhodendron forests, waterfalls … and at high altitude snow-capped peaks, glaciers and lakes. You will cross villages, you will be able to observe very varied lifestyles according to regions and ethnicities (Hindu or Buddhist).

Visit

The most famous treks, and the most frequented also, are located in the regions of Everest, Annapurnas, Langtang, Mustang, Rolwaling, in the Kathmandu valley. But the possibilities are enormous.

Our section “Treks and visits to Nepal” details a large number of circuits, but the list is not exhaustive, and in the same region, many variations are possible depending on the time you have, your budget, your desires, your physical abilities …

The walking time between each stage is given as an indication. It depends on the pace and the physical condition of each trekker.

With the exception of treks without lodges, you will always have the choice between lodge accommodation or camping. Be aware, however, that the camping trek is more expensive than the lodge trek, because you have to bring all the equipment, and therefore pay more staff (porters, cooks …).

The rest days planned in the cities, in particular in Pokhara, can be extended, in order to allow you to do other activities such as paragliding, or canyoning …

Do not hesitate to contact us to personalize your circuit!

If you do not plan a trek, or if you have enough time before or after your trek, we can guide you for a visit to the city of Kathmandu and / or the other cities of the valley: a unique cultural and architectural heritage in world. You will find all the details in our “Kathmandu Valley” menu.

You can also visit one of the two main national parks in Nepal, Chitwan National Park and Bardia National Park. You will find all the details in our “National Parks” menu.
